Aquest any, la gran triomfadora en la 93 ena edició dels Premis de l’acadèmia ha estat: Nomadland de Chloé que s’ha endut 3 dels 6 Premis als que optava i els més importants, Millor Film, Millor Director/a per Chloé Zhao (Eternals) i Millor Actriu per Frances McDormand. Millor Guió Original ha estat per Emerald Fennell per Promising Young Woman; Soul de Disney/Pixar que s’ha alçat amb dos guardons, el de Millor Film Animat i Millor Banda Sonora Original.
